Bastrop County Cares has been awarded funding through the Austin Community Foundation’s Forever Austin Fund as part of the Closing Wealth Gaps for Youth initiative.
This investment supports organizations that help young people build pathways to financial stability through career readiness, workforce development, and financial literacy.
This funding will strengthen Bastrop County Cares’ efforts to expand opportunities for youth and connect them with the tools, resources, and support they need to achieve long-term economic success. These efforts will focus on increasing access to meaningful opportunities, strengthening connections to education and employment, and removing barriers that can limit a young person’s ability to succeed.
