Early Childhood Coalition

This coalition works to reduce the incidence of child abuse and physical and emotional neglect experienced by children in Bastrop County through the collective work of community members, public and private organizations in Bastrop County. Our common vision is that, “ALL families in Bastrop County are connected to their community and providing a safe, healthy, and school – ready environment for their children.” The coalition uses local indicators to track progress over time through Results-Based Accountability (RBA).

Older Wise Leaders “OWLS”

A county-wide partnership that aims to understand the strength and challenges facing our senior community. Together, we will work to promote health and growth for all ages in our county.

The Resilient Bastrop County Initiative

A group of diverse community members that come together to address equity, inclusion and resilience in Bastrop County. This group brings together veterans, youth, the faith-based community, and historically-excluded populations to provide, assess, plan and implement strategies to become a healthier community that supports resilience, mental health and well-being.

Faith Communities in Collaboration

Faith Communities in Collaboration strives to increase Bastrop County’s ability to bring faith leadership together to understand the importance of all faith congregations from historical context into the present, to foster inclusion and increase trust and respect. We seek to enhance work beyond congregation walls to improve the ability to help our entire community thrive and prosper, ensuring a better future for all of Bastrop County

Interagency Networking Group

A robust group from around Bastrop County and Central Texas that encourages shared knowledge and understanding of resources for Bastrop County community members. The group also encourages collaboration between agencies, increased awareness of new and existing services, and acts as a platform for innovative thinking, expansion of services, and trust building.
