CommUnity Cares

CommUnityCare Health Centers has 28 locations around the Austin area, with an OB/GYN Clinic in the Bastrop area. CommUnityCare is a Federally Qualified Health Center that offers appointments to those calling the main line 512-978-9015, who have private insurance, MAP, or qualify for sliding fee scale. Services are available to those who are uninsured and financial screeners can assist with insurance applications: Financial Assistance – Community Care (communitycaretx.org). 

Specifically in OB, the Centering Pregnancy and Centering Parenting Programs encourage a community environment at each health visit. Pregnant mothers or mothers of young children, especially those who are Spanish speaking, are able to apply to both programs on findhelp.org
