As part of the B-WELL Integrated Wellness Program in partnership with Bluebonnet Trails Community Services, we recently hosted a hands-on workshop focused on natural wellness and immune support.
Participants gathered for an interactive session led by guest instructor DeLacey Martin, who guided the group through the process of creating Fire Cider, a traditional herbal remedy commonly used to support the immune system, particularly during cold and flu season.
Using fresh, natural ingredients, each participant created their own batch of Fire Cider to take home. In addition to leaving with a finished product, participants gained practical knowledge and skills they can incorporate into their daily wellness routines throughout the year. We also recognize Lily, our class participant selected as the day’s winner, who received a self-care gift set that included essential oil–infused bath bombs and bath salts to support continued relaxation and wellness at home.
This workshop provided a meaningful opportunity for participants to build practical wellness skills, connect with others, and explore holistic approaches to health. Experiences like this reflect the purpose of the B-WELL program, bringing community members together to support whole-person wellness.
