Food & Resource Distribution with Community of Hope

With vital support from the Central Texas Food Bank, families across Bastrop County are receiving nutritious food boxes that help feed their children and ease the challenges of food insecurity. In partnership with Community of Hope, we're dedicated to providing consistent access to food and essential resources throughout the summer. Distributions will take place on the following Tuesdays: June 10th, June 24th, July 8th, July 22nd, and August 5th. This initiative ensures that families with children ages 1–18 have access to nourishing food throughout the summer. Summer Youth Program – Literacy Health & Wellness, & Career Exploration

Summer 2025 Youth Program: Literacy, Health & Wellness, and Career Exploration is presented by Hopewell Rosenwald School & Bastrop County Cares Education Collaborative Entry: FreeEligibility: Children ages 8–12Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Bastrop County Cares, in partnership with the Hopewell Rosenwald School Project and the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL), invites youth ages 8–12 to participate in an engaging and enriching summer program focused on literacy, health and wellness, and career exploration. This free program will take place July 11th, 18th, and 25th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Hopewell Rosenwald School in Cedar Creek, Texas. Participants will enjoy a full day of hands-on learning, interactive activities, and creative discovery. A monetary stipend of up to $75 is available for participating youth.
