    Families with young children are invited to join Monthly Toddler Time, a fun and engaging program designed for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers. This monthly gathering offers interactive activities that support early childhood development while creating opportunities for families to connect, learn, and play together. Sessions include hands-on toddler activities, opportunities to explore early learning through play, and parenting classes led by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Families will also have access to helpful toddler resources, early childhood support, and essential items that support healthy development. Monthly Toddler Time is a welcoming space where parents and caregivers can build community while helping their toddlers grow, explore, and learn.     Monthly Tiny Tales & Sensory Play is a fun, interactive program for infants, toddlers, and their caregivers that combines storytime with hands-on sensory play. Each month features a new book and theme, encouraging early literacy, curiosity, and developmental play in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. Families can enjoy interactive sensory activities, engaging storytime through the Library Awareness Program (LAP), and connections to helpful community resources. Free baby items are also available while supplies last.     Join Bastrop County Cares for our Care-A-Van event designed to strengthen families, promote healthy child development, and increase access to local resources in rural Bastrop County. The Stony Point Park Care-A-Van takes place on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Thursday of each month from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stony Point Park, 105 Stony Creek Drive Del Valle, Texas. Our Care-A-Van brings free recreational activities directly to neighborhoods that may lack access to parks and playgrounds, offering soccer, basketball, archery, tag, reading tents, and creative play opportunities that encourage positive parent-child interaction and family connection. While children enjoy safe, engaging activities, parents and caregivers can connect with our Parent Ambassadors and Community Health Workers to learn about local programs and supports, including public benefit enrollment (SNAP, WIC, Medicaid), early childhood services, workforce development programs, digital literacy opportunities, home visiting programs, and basic needs assistance.     Monthly Baby & Mommy Yoga is a welcoming, family-friendly wellness program designed to support moms and their babies ages 0–3 years old through movement, connection, and community. Each session includes one hour of gentle, guided yoga focused on bonding, stretching, and relaxation, followed by an additional hour for free books, community resources, and special goodies for moms. This program is offered monthly in both Elgin and Bastrop, providing a supportive space for caregivers to prioritize wellness while building meaningful connections with other families. Babies are welcome, and no prior yoga experience is required. This hands-on program helps participants build confidence using everyday technology while learning practical skills to stay safe, informed, and connected. Topics include computer and software basics, online banking safety, recognizing and avoiding scams, and using Zoom and Google Meet for video calls.
