The Holy Currencies Retreat held on September 29th was nothing less than Awesome! Bastrop County Cares expresses our sincere appreciation for all attendees. During the retreat we were able to have a conversation regarding the needs of our churches as well as the assets and programs of our congregations. We had representation from churches in Bastrop, Elgin, and Smithville. After the retreat the churches are tasked with going back to their congregations and communities to gather community needs information. We are looking forward to all the churches working together in a BIG Community Project based on the needs of our County. If you were not able to join us, it is not too late. There will also be other training to equip our churches to become more sustainable and impactful through a Cycle of Blessings.
