The Stony Point Park Care-A-Van takes place on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Thursday of each month from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stony Point Park, 105 Stony Creek Drive Del Valle, Texas. Our Care-A-Van brings free recreational activities directly to neighborhoods that may lack access to parks and playgrounds, offering soccer, basketball, archery, tag, reading tents, and creative play opportunities that encourage positive parent-child interaction and family connection. While children enjoy safe, engaging activities, parents and caregivers can connect with our Parent Ambassadors and Community Health Workers to learn about local programs and supports, including public benefit enrollment (SNAP, WIC, Medicaid), early childhood services, workforce development programs, digital literacy opportunities, home visiting programs, and basic needs assistance.
