To help families gain confidence and practical lifesaving skills, Bastrop County Cares’ Child & Family Programs partnered with Ally Medical to offer a free Baby & Toddler CPR Class for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and community members.
The hands-on class provided participants with CPR training for infants, children, and adults, giving them the opportunity to practice techniques with guidance from Ally Medical’s experienced instructors. At the completion of the course, attendees earned a CPR certification valid for two years, helping them feel better prepared to respond during an emergency.
In addition to CPR instruction, Ally Medical shared valuable information about the emergency care services available at their Bastrop location, including when to seek emergency care and how they support the community beyond their medical services. The class also gave families the opportunity to ask questions, connect with local resources, and learn from healthcare professionals in a welcoming environment.
Programs like this are part of Bastrop County Cares’ ongoing commitment to providing families with access to educational opportunities and resources that promote health, safety, and well-being. We are grateful to Ally Medical for partnering with us and investing their time and expertise to make this class available at no cost to our community.
