About
Resilient Bastrop County Collaborative (RBCC) actively works to diminish mental health stigma by collaborating with local community members, organizations, and stakeholders to establish enduring connections to resources, fostering a resilient and thriving community culture.
We target specific groups, such as veterans, youth, and seniors, to address their unique mental health needs, fostering a stronger, more resilient community. Monthly group meetings involve community residents in defining strategies and desired outcomes for mental health and resilience.
Embracing the concept of “bouncing forward,” we strive to create a thriving community even in the face of difficulties.
Our Approach
RBCC revolves around one central theme: Connectivity & Collaboration. Within this overarching theme, we have specific objectives related to information dissemination, policy change, and addressing mental health stigma. Through creating safe spaces, promoting teamwork, and aligning actions with mental health needs, we ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and valued. This approach aims to provide better access to resources, reduce healthcare costs, and improve overall community well-being.
