Bastrop County Cares is grateful to Texas Roadhouse Bastrop for selecting our organization as its charity partner during its soft opening.
Throughout the event, our staff welcomed guests at an information table, where we had the opportunity to introduce community members to Bastrop County Cares and share how our programs support children, families, and individuals throughout Bastrop County. Events like these are an important part of our outreach because they allow us to meet people where they are, answer questions, build new relationships, and connect residents with services they may not know are available.
In addition to raising awareness, every drink purchased during the soft opening generated support for our mission. Community fundraising events like this help nonprofits continue providing programs while also creating opportunities to engage with local residents and strengthen partnerships with businesses that care about the communities they serve.
